HOW TO USE YOUR FIRE BLANKET
STEP 1: Release Blanket
ANCHORED
When pouch is hanging and/or secured in place, pull down on straps with both hands.
NOT ANCHORED
When pouch is stored flat and not secured in place, hold top of pouch with one hand, and pull on straps with other hand.
STEP 2: Extinguish Fire
Hold the Fire Blanket by straps, unfold it and lay it over fire to smother flames. Safely turn off heat source if present.
PLEASE NOTE: To ensure safety, replace Fire Blanket after initial use.
To extinguish a clothing fire, guide person to the ground and cover fire with blanket. Provide first aid and call 911 if needed.
PLEASE NOTE: The size of this Fire Blanket may not be large enough to effectively extinguish a full body clothing fire.
